It's fashionable, and quite right, that the norm right now is not to trust Facebook and to treat anything Mark Zuckerberg is involved in with caution. Just this week both Founders of Instagram, a company bought out by Facebook in 2012, have retired from their positions within the company after reportedly years of trying to keep Instagram independent from Facebook but with Facebook integration continuing to encroach on the platform. What you can't take away from them though is how exciting their push into VR is looking.
So it's been a minute since Playstation made a statement about how they are the superior system and that they had no plans of allowing cross-play as the gaming muggles would infect the superior race of high brow gamer. I'm fortunate because Playstation is my platform of choice and two out of the three people I'd regularly play with, including m'lady, is on the platform too. Most people aren't that lucky and Sony's blatant disregard for the times was fragmenting the player base and hurting diversity of play.
Telltale Games, responsible for introducing me to the fascinating and captivating genre of interactive visual novels, has let go of most of its staff and looks to be closing for good. Popular for releasing games based on such massive franchises as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Wolf Among Us (based on the Fables series of comics by Bill Willingham), was not enough to keep the studio alive, despite being a huge revenue and accolade machine back in 2013-14.
Today Sony announced that come December 3rd, they will be joining Nintendo in their push to resell old hardware, repackaged in a smaller more travel friendly form. With the popularity of the NES Classic, that was out of stock everywhere for a very long time indeed, and the SNES follow up, Playstation have seen fit to join the fray. During the dawn of its 25th birthday, Sony are releasing the original Playstation One. Just as was the case with Nintendo's offerings, the mini console will come pre-loaded with much loved games.

A wedding proposal is a pivotal point in anyone's life. Regardless of whether they say yes or no, which can cause crippling fear in itself, you've also got to contend with how yours will be unique and memorable, without resorting to something that could be considered either cliche or predictable. When Tyler Schultz came up with the idea to install his proposal into a video game, especially one from a renowned studio who agreed to help him out, he must have thought he was on to a winner.
Just as it seems that the whole world has decided to pick up and play the new Spider-Man PS4 title, it's emerged that Insomniac Games, the developer behind the game, actually had their pick of the litter when it came to what IP they could play with. Marvel were very open to any of their roster being adapted by the studio so we could just have easily have gotten a Punisher open world game. Bearing that in mind, did Insomniac pick right? Or have we been duped out of something that could have been even better?
In this episode of the Vlog, Jimmy buys deodorant, edits a video about Cyberpunk 2077 and lies the entire time about stuff he really shouldn't. Sounds mildly fun, doesn't it? He also shows off some of the best editing he's ever done, which by anyone else's standards is probably really lackluster.
